The Arts Cafe - Painswick arts cafe & shop

The Arts Cafe is a gorgeous destination in the heart of the village. The welcoming, dog friendly cafe now boasts a huge range of treats for all palates - and covers vegan and gluten free options too. Barista coffee & tea and local homemade cakes served in the beautiful heart of Painswick - you will find this a safe haven on a Cotswold trek or a great location for a midweek lunch. The cafe continues to sell original paintings and prints, cushions, honey and beeswax candles, bath time treats, chocolate, ceramics, and a lot more besides - all sourced locally by Handmade in Painswick.

The cafe is run by locals Lauren and Purdi - who's smiles and laughs can be heard bouncing off the Cotswold stone building facades. Since starting life as a post-lockdown pop-up cafe the venue has grown from strength to strength welcoming locals and visitors alike and hosting book readings and other events too. For those needing to drive the cafe boasts some of the best parking in Painswick!!

The Painswick Centre is proud to work in collaboration with the Arts Cafe providing a much needed focal point in the village to relax, restore and be creative.
