Arts Society Painswick
The Arts Society Painswick has been meeting monthly in the Beacon Hall since it was formed in 1984, and meet every second Thursday of the month (except January & August). Guests are welcome at the lectures (£5), and they always welcome new members. Meetings start with coffee before the lecture.

Painswick Community Choir
The choir sings a wide variety of songs from around the world in unaccompanied 3 to 4 part harmony. They are a friendly group and there is space for more singers in the choir so do get in touch if you are interested in joining and would like to know more. It’s open to all abilities & no music reading skills are necessary.

Painswick Probus Club was formed in 1990, with the objective to provide a regular meeting point and social opportunities for retired professional and business persons residing in Painswick and the surrounding villages. New members are always welcome.

Subud
Our small, friendly, Subud group has been meeting at the Painswick Community Centre for about a year now, to share worship, with a social get-together afterwards.
What is Subud?
The Subud ‘latihan’ – meaning an ‘exercise’ – is a way for people to discover and develop the inner self. Each person experiences it differently, according to what they need at the time.
