March 10 @ 7:00 pm - 10:30 pm
Come and join us for canapes by candlelight, and settle in with a drink to enjoy March’s community cinema night. The Lost King is a charming and whimsical film with an incredible true story at its heart – the discovery of the body of King Richard III under a Midlands car park in 2012. Sally Hawkins stars as Philippa Langley, the amateur historian and sleuth who was a driving force behind the archaeological dig but who felt sidelined by many institutions both before and after the find. This is her funny and touching story, of a growing obsession with the long-dead king, and her insistence on finding his body and laying him properly to rest.
Wick-Flix is a very special community cinema with a unique atmosphere. Doors open at 7pm, so come along and join us for a drink beforehand (your first one is included with the ticket price). Tickets are £9 on the door, cash or card accepted. The showing will start at 7.45pm, and there will be an interval for more drinks at the bar and sweet & savoury snacks. We are delighted to serve Woodchester Valley Vineyard wines and Marshfield ice creams at our showings.
With our thanks to our Gold sponsor Murrays Estate Agent, and sponsors Woodchester Valley Vineyard and Goddard’s Garage.
