Joe's Easy Tai Chi & Movement

Joe May has been running his Tai Chi sessions around the Cotswolds for many years. The classes are for those feeling out of shape, worried about lack of balance, or recovering from injury or surgery. The classes are gentle and effective, helping to improve balance, and focusing on breath and movement.

Kim Brockett has been teaching yoga for 28 years, and holding classes at The Painswick Centre for many of those. She runs a series of classes on Thursdays and Fridays during term time, as well as classes from her fresh air barn and via Zoom. You can expect a flowing practice integrating breath and movement; all levels welcome.

Classical Pilates

Joanne has been teaching Pilates for over twenty years and is also qualified as a Back Practitioner and accepts GP referrals specialising in rehabilitation and injury prevention. She practises an interdisciplinary approach based on her certifications in Body Control Pilates, the benchmark for safe Pilates training and Europe’s largest professional Pilates organisation. In her classes of maximum 9 people you will move through a full range of movements and follow a traditional order with different challenges added to promote the mind-body connection. The sessions are fresh and challenging and each time you will feel the the length in the spine and the balance between strength and flexibility of this full body workout. Each session is focussed on individual needs and appropriate exercises given to each individual to improve functional movement supported with kindness, empathy and fun.
