Our Facilities

Kitchens. Available to hirers of the Beacon Hall or Green Room for no additional charge (unless professional caterers are employed when a fuel surcharge may be applied). Hirers must provide their own hand towels, tea towels and bin liners, remove any rubbish and leave rooms clean and tidy.

Bar. The Centre has two fully licensed bars serving the Beacon Hall and the Skittle Alley. We can provide a full Bar Service in the Beacon Hall or Skittle Alley for any event. Bar fees do apply, please call us to discuss.

Licence Extensions. We can arrange extensions to normal licensing hours, up to 1am, for special events if given one month’s notice. Hirers will have to pay the fee charged by Stroud District Council.

Corkage Fees. Hirers are free to bring in their own alcoholic drinks, but must, for legal reasons, make arrangements through us as the licensee. We charge £6 corkage fee per 75cl bottle and £1.50 per other drink.

Chairs and Tables. We do not charge for the use of any of our tables or chairs although hirers will need to put them out and tidy them away.

Provision of Tea/Coffee. We are happy to provide tea, coffee and biscuits if needed. This will be charged separately based on numbers.

Setting Up and Cleaning. If you would like us to set up the room/s for you we can arrange this for £15. The same fee will apply to clearing down tables & chairs after your event. Cleaning afterwards is £20 per hour.

Wifi. There is wifi throughout the building (except in the Skittle Alley).

Public Address System and Hearing Loop. There is a full public address system and hearing loop in the Beacon Hall.

Special Lighting. The Hall is equipped with full theatre lighting to enhance any stage performance. There may be additional fees to use this, please call us to discuss.

Parking. We have a limited number of car parking spaces that are available to all users of the hall on a first come first served basis. This does not entitle those attending an event to park for more than half an hour before the event unless they have to set up or prepare the event. There is plenty of public parking in the nearby car park in Stamages Lane.

Accessibility. We have two designated accessible parking spots close to the building entrances, which are clearly marked. There are two separate accessible toilets, one outside the Gardiner Room and one off there Beacon Hall. There is ramped access to both the Beacon Hall and the Gardiner Room, and from there a stair lift to access the Cotswold and Green Cotswold Rooms on the first floor.
