Work or volunteer with us

The Painswick Centre is run as a charitable trust for the benefit of the community. Much of what we do relies on volunteers, and we are always looking for more people to help. We also have paid roles available from time to time. If you're working towards a Duke of Edinburgh Award and are looking for volunteering opportunities, we can help. You can become part of a team and undertake regular activities which will count towards your Volunteering section.

Please see below for the latest roles we are looking to fill, and contact us to get involved!

At The Painswick Centre we have a number of clubs and societies who use our hall for meetings. We need someone who can help set out and clear away chairs and tables for these meetings. You will need to be able bodied and reliable. Please contact the Centre Manager for more information.

Wick-Flix

Wick-Flix Flickers & Flickettes

First Friday of the month

Wick-Flix film nights have been taking place at The Painswick Centre for over three years, and are incredibly popular in and beyond the village. The screenings are run solely by volunteers, and we always need new people to help out. From selling tickets, to serving ice cream and snacks, and selling drinks at the bar, being a Flicker or Flickette is great fun. You'll be part of a team of varying ages, you get pizza and a drink from the bar to keep you going, and of course you get to watch the film for free. Please contact Ally at allyson.davis@painswickcentre.com for more information.
